When you type ‘about:’ in the address-bar of Firefox-3.5.8, it shows a weird version number (1.9.1.8). What is going on here?
I notice the same thing on OpenSUSE 11.2. Firefox version 3.5.7 displays version 1.9.1.7 on the about: page.

This has been fixed in Firefox 3.6.x.
Both the “About Mozilla Firefox” and “about:” screens now display the same version number.
